Mother 3 (MOTHER3マザースリーMazā Suri) colloquially known as EarthBound 2 to American fans, is the third, and allegedly final installment in the Mother video game series. It was developed by HAL Laboratory, Inc. and Brownie Brown and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy on April 20, 2006. It has currently been released only in Japan. It was designed and directed by Shigesato Itoi, with music by Shogo Sakai. Mother 3 tells the story of Lucas.
